You’ll cover a lot of material in these two days, and leave feeling more confident in your ability to jump right in on your next SketchUp project. You can expect to cover 3D drawing fundamentals, model organization, model painting and texturing, styling and image composition, an introduction to document production in LayOut, and (maybe most important), techniques that will help you learn and model faster throughout no matter what experience you have in SketchUp. This course is designed and paced for true beginners. No need to decide which sessions to attend, because this is two full days of everything you need to become the SketchUpper that your friends and colleagues will come to for advice. If you’re coming to 3D Basecamp to learn SketchUp from scratch (or close), this is the course for you. NOTE: For this class you will need your own iPad running SketchUp and Procreate. Creating and manipulating interior lighting effects by hand Adding landscape context and entourage in Procreate Using the Procreate color sampler to “borrow” inspiring color pallettes Creating the Winter Moonlight rendering (1st of 3 seasons we’ll create) Adjusting the line scale multiplier to regulate the line weight of the scene Exporting the final Sketchup scene to Procreate via iCloud Drive Selecting and customizing the Sketchy Edges Pen in Procreate Generating the core linework line drawing using Styles and Scenes We’ll create hand-drawn renderings depicting three seasons that are compelling enough to sell your design, but vague enough to maintain your design options. In this ahnds-on workshop shows you will learn how to combine the best of SketchUp and Procreate on iPad to deliver professional, artistic renderings in record time. The look and feel of your renderings can make or break a design proposal.
